Wyatt & Boden love being in the bath! Boden is an excellent splasher ;) We have a Jack & Jill style bathroom that you can access from either the boys’ room or the guest room. It’s nice that the bathtub & the sinks are separated so water doesn't end up all over the room…we can just close off the toilet & tub from the rest of it if the splashing gets out of control 🤪 Their favorite part of bath time is filling up buckets with water & dumping it on each other or themselves.
We had a ton of those little “squirt” toys and rubber duckies, but I found mold growing in them so I had to throw them away. Now, we don’t have those kinds of toys anymore & the ones they do have are easy to rinse and keep clean, I just wash them every once in a while & place them on a drying rack.
Here are some of the bath time products we use & love:
Cups: The boys love stack & pour buckets!
Drying rack: We had two drying racks in our kitchen. Now that the boys aren’t drinking out of bottles, we are able to get away with just one. I put the other in their bathroom to make drying toys easier. When it’s not in use, I just put it under one of the sinks.
Spout cover & rinser: The Moby bath spout cover makes bath time bump-free! Also, the Moby rinser helps make sure we get all of the soap out of our hair ;) Bonus that they are both dishwasher safe.
Toys: They have some color changing origami bath boats. Other than those, they play with the stack & pour buckets & the hair rinser.
Soap: We use The Honest Company Shampoo & Body Wash in the scents Sweet Orange Vanilla or Lavender (depending on the time of bath).
The Peter Pan artwork was made by my mother-in-law. (If you remember, they were used at my baby shower!) I hung the painting of Captain Hook & the crocodile in this room because I thought they looked good with the shower curtain.
The towels are hooded towels from Pendleton. They are the only towels we will use! They are such great quality & we have used them since the boys were a month old. We have even given them as baby gifts because we love them so much!
